It involves making them aware of the condition of the property, including a tour where condition can be confirmed. Meter readings can also be taken. Check-in is formalised by the tenants signing the report and then receiving the keys to the property.
At the start of the tenancy we will walk the tenants around the property and go through the condition and contents. If there are any updates these will be added to the report.
If accessible, we will record the readings of the property's gas, electric and water meters.
The check-in report will be signed by the tenants and then the final report is emailed to you within 48 hours.
If on the check in we feel that the landlord or letting agents need to know that there is an urgent issue, then we will call you from the property to advise.
